POELLATH advises Nürnberger Baugruppe on merger of BRZ Deutschland GmbH with Infoniqa (a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus)
In 1968, brothers Wolfgang and Gernot Hannewald had the idea to create a “construction processing center” (Baurechenzentrum (BRZ)) as part of the Nürnberger Baugruppe. Today’s BRZ Deutschland GmbH subsequently became one of the market leaders for ERP software and payroll solutions in the construction sector. Today, it serves more than 12,500 customers with approximately 650 employees.
The Infoniqa Group was founded in 1988 in Wels, Austria, and is now majority-owned by growth investor Warburg Pincus. It specializes in software and service solutions in all areas of administrative and strategic human resource management: payroll accounting, time management and outsourcing. As one of the few full-service providers in the DACH market, with locations in Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Poland, the company also operates internationally, with 500 employees in 11 locations.
With the merger of the Infoniqa Group and BRZ Deutschland GmbH, a strong corporate group being formed under the umbrella of Warburg Pincus in the DACH region, which will continue to invest in technological innovation and growth.
