POELLATH advises Deutsche Wohnen SE on sale of part of its nursing home portfolio for a purchase price of over EUR 300 million
Deutsche Wohnen SE, a subsidiary of Europe’s largest listed residential real estate company, Vonovia SE, has sold part of its nursing home portfolio. The nursing home portfolio consists of a total of 27 nursing home facilities in Berlin, Hamburg, Brandenburg and Saxony, as well as the Katharinenhof Group, the nursing home operator. The total transaction volume of the combined transaction amounted to over EUR 300 million.
The nursing home facilities were acquired by a fund managed by Civitas Investment Management in Luxembourg, which focuses solely on investments in social infrastructure in Germany and Europe.
