POELLATH advises Quantum on the acquisition of “Wasserstadt Mitte” in Berlin
Quantum Immobilien KVG (“Quantum”) has acquired “Wasserstadt Mitte” in Berlin’s Europacity for an institutional investor by way of a share deal. The sellers are a holding company of Adler Real Estate AG and Taurecon. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The quarter is located on the banks of the Berlin-Spandauer canal at Heidestrasse 17-24 and was completed in 2019. It comprises a total leasable area of approximately 47,000 m². This is divided between 711 sustainably built and privately financed apartments, including 213 co-living apartments, and around 3,000 m² of commercial space for retail, restaurants and a daycare center.
