P+P advises Union Investment on acquisition of Rathaus Mitte (city hall) in Berlin

Union Investment acquired the approx. 20,000 m² office property in Berlin-Mitte (Karl-Marx-Allee 31) for the open-end real estate fund UniInstitutional European Real Estate. The seller of the district city hall and administration building that are leased to the state of Berlin is a joint venture between the fund Curzon Capital Partners III, advised by Tristan Capital Partners, and caleus capital investors. The purchase price on which the parties have agreed is approx. 87.4 million Euro. Union Investment owns 17 commercial properties in the capital city with a total value of approx. 2 billion Euro.
