P+P advises on tax aspects of sale of Rhein-Ruhr Zentrum
A joint venture with multiple investors has sold the Rhein-Ruhr Zentrum (RRZ) in Mülheim an der Ruhr. The sale was carried out as a combination share and asset deal. The parties agreed that the purchase price shall remain confidential.
With a property area of 200,000 m², the RRZ has approx. 75,000 m² of retail space and accommodates approx. 200 commercial retail units. In addition to the retail spaces, there is also a large food court, a large CinemaxX movie theater, a bowling and entertainment center, a casino and an indoor playground.
P+P advised the joint venture on all tax aspects of the transaction with the following Berlin-based tax team:
