POELLATH advises UHNWI on the restructuring of his US trusts

POELLATH advised UHNWI on the restructuring of his US trusts due to an intended relocation to Germany.

The advice was targeted at tax optimisation and restructuring of US trusts as well as the clarification of tax residency in Germany, considering also other European jurisdictions. For this purpose, among other things, a private letter ruling was obtained in order to provide the client with certainty for the future. In addition, issues relating to visa and dual citizenship (German-US) were clarified.
