POELLATH advises Freihoff Group on the sale to EMK Capital-backed Garda Group

Founded 25 years ago, Freihoff has since become the leading independent system integrator for electronic security solutions in Germany. Today, the company implements complex security solutions for renowned, major customers such as DHL, Bayer, Telekom and RWE, as well as numerous medium-sized customers and private individuals.

EMK is a successful European private equity investor with extensive experience in the security market. The Garda Group, the largest provider of security solutions in Northern Europe, has been part of EMK’s portfolio since the beginning of 2023. Together with Freihoff, they plan to establish the leading European platform for security solutions, with Freihoff and the current management team leading the consolidation in German-speaking countries.
