POELLATH advises on establishment of the Kraftwerk Group
With the participation of Elvaston Capital Management GmbH (“Elvaston”), five innovative technology companies from the energy and water industry have joined forces under the “Kraftwerk” brand. iS Software, S&P Solutions, eins+null, signion and msu solutions will join forces in the future to accelerate the development of ERP software into powerful, modern cloud software systems and shape the future of energy supply. For this purpose, the portfolio has been divided into various business units that combine the companies’ respective expertise and solutions to optimally address the customer base, target markets and specific challenges.
Kraftwerk provides the operating system for the energy transition for producers, utilities and consumers and will be one of the largest providers of ERP, CRM, asset management and energy & aqua cloud software in the industry. With over 350 specialists, the corporate group supports more than 500 ERP customers and 150 electric charging providers and comprehensively covers the entire commercial value chain of the energy industry across all market roles.
Elvaston is an entrepreneur-led investment firm that specializes in medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries. Elvaston acquires majority shareholdings and provides equity capital to finance growth. The portfolio includes corporate group spin-offs, buy & build concepts in sectors with consolidation potential, succession solutions for entrepreneurs and families, growth financing in the form of equity increases, and transactions in listed companies.
