For the first time, JUVE published a tax handbook in the spring of 2018. Extensive research of business enterprises and legal representatives form the basis for the introduction and assessment of almost 120 tax consulting firms.

P+P is represented in all of its spheres of proficiency, including five advisors who are listed as "leading" in their respective practice areas. All three offices in Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich are among the "top practices of the region".

P+P's succession and private clients practice is represented with the highest score with two leading names: Andreas Richter in Berlin and founding partner Reinhard Pöllath, a "phenomenon" in the market. P+P's finance tax practice also scores with two leading advisors: Berlin-based Hardy Fischer and Andreas Rodin, the "flagship" of the Frankfurt office, who has an "excellent reputation" in fund structuring and AIF advisory. According to clients, he is an "absolute expert in fund structuring matters, always approachable" and impresses with "very short reaction times". Other frequently recommended advisors are Jens Steinmüller, who has positioned himself in the market for investment tax, and Michael Best ("brilliant, creative, excellent transactional understanding").
Michael also receives positive feedback for his advice on transaction tax. Other frequently recommended advisors are Alexander Pupeter, who is "excellent in transactions" according to competitors. The firm is one of the "determining players" in transactions and the team has a "treasure trove of experience that only a few German firms possess" in private equity deals. The tax practice for real estate transactions has established itself as stable and balanced with the "frequently recommended" Hardy Fischer.
Another leading advisor is Dieter Birk, known for his competence in tax litigation, an area in which P+P "can always be counted on" and is "regularly praised" for advice on fiscal court proceedings. In addition, the "excellent" Pia Dormueller is "increasingly recognized for her work in arbitration and mutual agreement proceedings", especially in relation to "international questions in corporate tax law".
She is also an "outstanding M&A and tax lawyer", who has ensured that structural advisory for companies has "significantly gained importance". Stephan Viskorf is also included as a frequently recommended advisor.
