P+P Pöllath + Partner has been nominated for the JUVE Award in the category "Dispute Resolution". The JUVE Handbook for Commercial Law Firms is the benchmark in Germany that portrays and evaluates business law firms and lawyers and their respective departments. The JUVE Awards are among the most important industry awards in the German legal market.

In the "Dispute Resolution" category, the JUVE editors honor law firms whose litigation and arbitration practices have developed dynamically. This includes disputes relating to corporate, commercial and capital market law, including preventive advice and out-of-court dispute resolution. JUVE distinguishes both young and promising companies, as well as long-established players who have developed very positively over the past twelve months.

P+P Pöllath + Partners advised, inter alia, the US fund Magnetar Capital on the successful assertion of a supplementary payment claim in connection with the public takeover of Celesio AG by McKesson. This much-noticed case was decided by the Federal Court in the last instance. In addition, the team led by the partners Wolfgang Grobecker and Eva Nase has been active in the past twelve months, in particular in shareholder conflicts and complex cases of corporate liability, most of which were settled out of court.
