P+P continues to expand Berlin private clients practice

As of April 1, 2019, P+P Pöllath + Partners fortifies the private client practice at the Berlin office. Verena Staats comes to P+P from the Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen e.V..

Since 2009, Verena Staats worked with Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen e.V. – most recently as director of in-house counsel and a member of the management board. She supported the reforms in non-profit law in recent years and has hands-on experience from her work on committees in various non-profit organizations.

Verena Staats will reinforce the existing practice led by Andreas Richter and Katharina Gollan. P+P is responding to the continued growth of advisory services for charitable and private operating foundations. Family foundations are currently experiencing a renaissance, often taking company succession into consideration. Non-profit and private operating foundations associated with companies have always played a prominent role at P+P.
