P+P appointed two new associated partners, one new equity partner and six new counsel
P+P Pöllath + Partners appointed three new partners and six new counsel as of January 1, 2020. With Tobias Jäger (M&A/Restructuring/Private Equity, Munich), a lawyer within the own ranks strengthens the equity partnership of P+P at the Munich office. Kim Delphine Geißler (Real Estate, Berlin) and Dr. Anna Katharina Gollan (Succession/Assets/Foundations, Berlin) were named as associated partners.
Tobias Jäger is a new partner in the M&A and private equity team at the Munich office. Mr. Jäger is an expert in M&A, corporate law, restructuring and transaction-related agreements. In recent years, he has also established and expanded P+P's insolvency law and restructuring practice area and is now taking over the leadership of this area within the firm. His clients include private equity funds, strategic investors as well as medium-sized companies and entrepreneurs, whom he primarily advises on corporate transactions and restructurings, especially in relation to insolvency-related matters. Besides his legal work, Tobias Jäger is a long-standing lecturer in the master's degree course "Commercial Law" at the University of Münster (JurGrad) and host of the Frankfurt Insolvency and M&A Forum.
Kim Delphine Geißler is a new associated partner in the real estate law team at the Berlin office. The real estate law department is growing continuously and currently has four equity partners. Mrs. Geißler provides comprehensive advice on real estate transactions (share deals, asset deals), real estate project developments as well as on commercial tenancy law.
Dr. Anna Katharina Gollan is a new associated partner in the private clients team at the Berlin office. The firm has been continuously expanding this area at all its offices for years. Dr. Gollan advises foundations and non-profit organizations as well as their donors and founders on legal and tax matters, in particular with regard to structuring, asset management and purpose-related activities as well as on the interface with inheritance law. She is a member of the German Bar Association's Inheritance Law Legislative Committee.
In addition, the firm appointed the following six colleagues as counsel at the beginning of the new year: Dr. Christian Hillebrand, Dr. Robert Eberius and Dr. Andreas Gens (all Private Funds, Berlin) and the Munich-based Dr. Tim Junginger (M&A/Private Equity), Adalbert Makos (M&A/Private Equity/Venture Capital) and Dr. Sebastian Gerlinger (M&A/Private Equity/Venture Capital).
"We are very pleased about the many new appointments for the new year. In particular, with Mrs. Geißler and Mrs. Gollan, we have added two successful women attorneys to the firm's partnership." comments the P+P management board. In 2019, the firm had already appointed six new partners and four new counsel within its own ranks.
