Dr. Andreas Gens, LL.M.

Andreas is a member of POELLATH’s Private Funds practice group and advises national and international investors in private equity funds and other alternative investments (real estate, infrastructure, commodity and energy funds). His many years of experience and knowledge of current market standards are valued by clients and colleagues alike. Andreas negotiates on all fund-related legal, economic and tax aspects, with a special focus on investment and general tax issues, as well as tax compliance issues (DAC 6). His negotiations are efficient and solution-oriented, always having in mind the requirements of multi-party relationships. In both his negotiations and advisory, Andreas also benefits from his extensive experience abroad in the US, as well as from his experiences as a player in a Berlin soccer club, on and off the field as a member of the club’s board. He still likes to spend his free time playing sports, either with his teammates or jogging with colleagues through Tiergarten in Berlin.
