POELLATH update: Our new partner and counsel appointments and election of the management board
Dr. Verena Stenzel is a new associated partner in the M&A/private equity department at the Munich office. She specializes in the legal supervision of corporate transactions. Her main focus is advising on M&A transactions involving private equity investors. She also advises in the fields of commercial and corporate law.
Dr. André Blischke is a new associated partner in the private funds department at the Frankfurt office. He advises on the tax, civil and contract law aspects of fund structuring and fund investments, as well as fund secondaries. A particular focus is on tax law issues, including those related to investment tax law.
Dr. David Hötzel is a new associated partner in the tax department at the Berlin office. He advises on real estate transactions from a tax perspective on both the buyer and seller sides. A further focus of his work is tax structuring for real estate investments. He also advises on taxation issues in connection with cryptocurrencies and -tokens.
Dr. Moritz Klein is a new associated partner in the M&A/private equity department at the Munich office. He advises on the entire field of transaction and corporate law, in particular on M&A and private equity transactions. He focuses on leveraged buyouts, buy-and-build structures and carve-outs.
Dr. Erik Muscheites is a new associated partner at the Frankfurt office. Since 2020 he is part of the private clients practice group. He has worked in national and international tax law for several years and focuses on cross-border tax advice for high-net-worth individuals.
Four new counsels elected
In addition to the partner appointments, the POELLATH partnership has elected the following four lawyers and tax advisors as counsel: in Frankfurt, Dr. Laurenz Lipp (private clients) as well as in Munich, Teresa Noël (tax), Matthias Oberbauer (M&A/private equity) and Dr. Dominik Sorber (employment law).
Re-election of Dr. Eva Nase to the POELLATH management board
Finally, the partnership has re-elected Munich corporate partner Dr. Eva Nase as a member of the POELLATH management board. She will thus continue her term on the management board for another three years alongside current tax partner Peter F. Peschke (Munich) and real estate partner Dr. Matthias Durst (Berlin).
The Management Board plans, organizes and implements central firm projects and coordinates the strategic orientation of the firm across all offices.
