AIFMD review - loan funds will be harmonized
The Council of the European Union has published the final text amending the AIFMD (AIFMD II) and the UCITS Directive. The creation of a uniform legal framework for lending by alternative investment funds (AIFs) domiciled in the EU is likely to be one of the most important changes.
