P+P advises THI on investment in online language course provider Learnship Networks
The shareholders of the company include the founding partners, Sushel Bijganath and Thomas Sonntag. Likewise, KfW, NRW.BANK, BDMI GmbH, Wecken & Cie., DME Invest GmbH & Co. KG and Cartus Corporation had already invested in the startup. Following the transaction, a capital increase of further EUR 10 million euros was completed.
THI is a German family office with a focus on growth-oriented and long-term financial and corporate investments. Learnship Networks is a provider of online foreign language training for companies. With the new capital, the EduTech startup intends to further expand its international presence. Founded in Cologne in 2008, the company claims to already operate for more than 2,000 companies (including Amazon, Bertelsmann, Nestlé, Puma, Roche and Volvo) in 75 countries.
