P+P advises robotic expert CHM on sale to TGW Logistics Group
TGW Logistics Group has acquired CHM Automatisierungstechnik GmbH, headquartered in Stephanskirchen, Upper Bavaria, Germany. CHM is a robotics and automation technology expert, which will expand the TGW Group with "TGW Robotics" as a 100 percent subsidiary.
TGW Logistics Group, headquartered in Wels (Austria), is a specialist in automated logistics solutions and hereby strengthens its product range with this strategic acquisition and underscores the developments in the future of robotics. The new TGW Group member "TGW Robotics" designs and builds special machines such as gantry robots and grippers.
The Stephanskirchen location with its 60 employees shall be retained in the future. The seller and former CEOs of CHM shall remain as part of the future management team.
