P+P advises PE investor Ambienta on the acquisition of Chromasens GmbH for the Lakesight Group
The Lakesight Group acquired Chromasens GmbH, based in Constance. The Lakesight Group is supported by the European private equity investor Ambienta, whose investment focus is, inter alia, on environmental technology companies.
Chromasens is a specialist company for color imaging in 2D and 3D. The company produces industrial image processing systems for a wide range of applications and develops color line-scan cameras, lighting technology and related software for the use of its products.
The acquisition of Chromasens is the Lakesight Group's third transaction. Previously, the group acquired Tattile Srl in 2012 and Mikrotron GmbH in 2015. Based in Mairano, Italy, Tattile develops, manufactures and distributes image processing systems for industrial applications. The German company Mikrotron, based in Unterschleißheim/Germany, mainly produces high-speed cameras.

- Dr. Andrea von Drygalski (partner, M&A, Munich)
- Dr. Jens Linde (counsel, financing, Frankfurt)
