P+P advises Odewald KMU on sale of Deutsche Pflege und Wohnen AG to the Belgian company Armonea
German investment company Odewald KMU sold Deutsche Pflege und Wohnen AG (DPUW) to the Belgian company Armonea.
Armonea is the largest operator of senior residences in Belgium and one of the largest in Europe. Besides 82 Belgian institutions, the company operates 26 other locations in Spain.
DPUW is a medium-sized service company that specializes in inpatient long-term and short-term care of elderly people in need of care and people with disabilities or dementia restrictions. The DPUW Group operates 17 facilities in Germany with approximately 3,000 nursing beds in the states of Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, Berlin and Bavaria.
The Odewald KMU Fund invests in medium-sized, well-established and high-growth companies in German-speaking countries. Odewald KMU investors are mainly German institutional asset management companies and wealthy private investors.
