P+P advises Munich startup Keyou GmbH on funding round
The Munich-based Clean Mobility startup KEYOU has successfully launched the next funding round. The capital investment company of Kreissparkasse Esslingen-Nürtingen mbH, abbreviated ES KAPITAL, has become a new investor and negotiations with other investors continue. The goal is to close the current funding round in Q4 with a "tidy" two-digit million sum.
KEYOU is a high-tech, Clean Mobility company. The company develops innovative hydrogen technologies for motor and automobile manufacturers, which help transform conventional motors to zero-emission hydrogen motors in a cost-efficient manner. The new "green" combustion engine has zero emissions and is both efficient and cost-effective. The technology is not dependent on the motor or manufacturer, is scalable and can be used both on and off the road. Currently, the focus is on commercial vehicle motors; meanwhile, there are already requests from the railway and maritime sectors.
ES KAPITAL supports midsize companies and promising startups in almost all phases of development with the necessary capital and an interbranch network. ES KAPITAL is a 100% subsidiary of Kreissparkasse Esslingen-Nürtingen, which is one of the 20 largest savings banks in Germany with almost EUR 10 billion in assets.
