P+P advises management of Spheros Group on the sale of the company to Valeo
Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG) and the management of Spheros sold their shares in Spheros Group to the listed French automotive supplier Valeo. The completion of the transaction is still subject to approval by the relevant antitrust authorities.
Spheros GmbH, headquartered in Gilching, Bavaria, is a manufacturer of air conditioners and heaters for buses and railway vehicles; the company had an expected 2015 turnover of EUR 245 million and worldwide more than 1,045 employees.
As part of a secondary buy-out in December 2011, DBAG had acquired the Spheros Group, a manufacturer of air conditioning systems for buses.
