P+P advises management of the ADCO Group on sale to Apax
The private equity firm Apax acquired a majority stake in the ADCO Group, the manufacturer of Dixi-Klos and ToiToi toilets. The previous shareholders retained a significant stake in the company. The parties agreed to keep the transaction volume confidential. According to finance circles, the company based in Ratingen near Düsseldorf is valued at approximately EUR 800 million for the sale.
The company was founded approximately 45 years ago in Ratingen. According to its own statement, ADCO is the "global market leader in mobile sanitary units" and rents portable toilets and sanitation equipment, such as those found on construction sites or major events, in 28 countries. With over 4,000 employees, the company most recently realized a turnover of approximately EUR 360 million. The ADCO Group comprises a total of 49 companies.
