P+P advises HeidelbergCapital on sale of Snom Technology AG to VTech Group

HeidelbergCapital Private Equity and the founders of the Berlin-based telephone manufacturer, Snom Technology AG, have sold their shares to the VTech Group.

Based in Berlin and founded in 1996, Snom Technology AG is a multinational company that established itself as the first leading international company to produce professional VoIP telephones designed for corporate applications. Snom has subsidiaries in the US and Taiwan, as well as branches in Great Britain, France and Italy.

Headquartered in Hong Kong, VTech acquired all shares in Snom. According to the company's own statement, VTech employs approximately 27,000 people and is the leading international manufacturer of cordless telephones and e-learning products, with research and development centers in the US, Canada, Germany and China.
