P+P advises Heartbeat Labs and Flying Health on structuring of the venture capital fund 'Heal Capital I'
In cooperation with the Verband der Privaten Krankenversicherung (PKV, German Association of Private Health Insurance), Heartbeat Labs and Flying Health have launched a venture capital fund, 'Heal Capital I' that will promote digital offerings in the healthcare sector.
PKV member companies plan to provide up to EUR 150 million to the fund. The fund's goal is to promote digital services in the public health sector. Telemedicine, prevention, practices and care aided by digital solutions are central to the initiative. Heartbeat Labs and Flying Health will manage the fund, two advisors and investors for startups. The Berlin-based companies are also investing a single digit million amount in the fund.
