P+P advises FC BAYERN Media Lab GmbH on strengthening the cooperation with NEXR Technologies SE

FC Bayern München and NEXR previously cooperated on „FCB VR experience", a virtual reality software that has allowed a virtual experience of the football team since 2019 and enables interactions with the football stars of FC Bayern München on the Allianz Arena football field.

In connection with the new cooperation agreement, FC Bayern Media Lab GmbH is acquiring virtual share options in NEXR Technologies SE and is thereby investing in the company's success. In return, NEXR Technologies SE receives a comprehensive media service package from FCB Media Lab GmbH for the time period 2020 to 2022.

Berlin-based NEXR Technologies SE is a virtual reality developer with both hardware and software expertise. The company develops technologies and apps in which augmented reality, mixed reality and virtual reality come together to create an "extended reality". NEXR's business segments range from VR experiences and 3D scanner systems to motion capture & animation and other trendsetting services and products.

FC Bayern Media Lab GmbH was founded in 2018 and is a subsidiary of FC Bayern München AG. It has more than 70 employees and serves both the digital needs of FC Bayern and also as service provider for other sports clubs.
