P+P advises EMP Merchandising on the sale to Sycamore Partners
EMP Merchandising, headquartered in Lingen/Ems, is a German multi-channel retailer that has marketed rock and fan merchandise since 1986.
EMP operates throughout Europe and is represented in 17 countries, including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Scandinavia. In addition to an outstanding online shop, EMP operates four stores in Germany and Austria.
Sycamore Partners is a private equity company based in New York, specializing in trading companies in the B2C sector. The company manages fund assets of more than USD 3.5 billion.
