P+P advises EMH Partners on investment in Munich lighting designer Occhio

The private equity company EMH Partners secures a minority share of 44% in Occhio GmbH in Munich with an investment in double-digit millions. The founders Axel and Susann Meise remain majority shareholders of Occhio GmbH.

Occhio was founded in 1999 and has since then established a strong brand in the lighting industry. The company develops design luminaires and ideas for innovative lighting and control technologies. In the course of its partnership with EMH Partners, Occhio plans to expand its brand presence, drive forward internationalization, and invest in the further digitization of the value chain.

EMH Partners is an investment company of entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs who invest in medium-sized companies with growth potential. The company pursues a long-term "build and scale" strategy and supports companies in particular with regard to internationalization and digitization.
