P+P advises Berlin-based limousine service Blacklane on series D financing round

Berlin-based startup Blacklane receives capital in the amount of double digit millions and thereby completes the largest financing round in the company's history. ALFAHIM, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, is a new investor in Blacklane in the series D financing round.

ALFAHIM is active in the United Arab Emirates as a mixed group, involved in the automobile, travel, hotel and restaurant industries, and also in real estate and the energy sector. The current shareholders Daimler and b-to-v Partners are also reinvesting.

The limousine service was founded by Frank Steuer and Jens Wohltorf. The firm has over 250 employees and is currently already active worldwide in over 50 countries. According to the company, it cooperates with thousands of partners in the travel industry, including distribution partners that have integrated Blacklane in their own app offerings, travel agencies, airlines and worldwide travel management companies (TMCs). With the new capital, the company plans to develop its business in many new cities, as well as establish a worldwide airport concierge service.
