P+P advises Ambienta on purchase of Mikrotron

P+P Pöllath + Partners advised Ambienta SGR on the acquisition of Mikrotron GmbH. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Ambienta SGR, headquartered in Milan, Italy, is a European private equity fund, focused on industrial growth investing in companies driven by environmental trends. With funds under management of over €500 million, the world largest capital pool for this strategy, Ambienta has completed 21 investments to date, all of which operate in the areas of resource efficiency and pollution control.

Mikrotron GmbH, located in Unterschleissheim, Bavaria, was founded in 1976 and has 35 employees. Mikrotron develops, manufactures, sells and rents high-speed cameras, imaging systems, software and accessories. Mikrotron is ISO:9001-certified and was awarded the "Top Job" seal as a top employer in 2015.
