POELLATH advises Prodlane GmbH on seven-figure seed financing round

Leipzig-based start-up Prodlane GmbH (“Prodlane”), developer of the AI platform MAIA (Mittelstand (SME) AI assistant), has successfully closed a seven-figure seed financing round. The round was led by TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen. In addition, business angels and a Swiss family office have also invested. Prodlane plans to use the capital raised to expand its sales team, further develop technical features and strengthen its market presence in the DACH region.

Prodlane was founded in 2021 and has developed an “SME AI assistant” that helps companies make legacy documents, new data and other knowledge bases searchable, analyzable and usable with the help of artificial intelligence. For example, this could include product manuals, construction plans, data sheets, standards, guidelines, competition and market information. The company’s customer base includes medium-sized mechanical engineering firms, medical technology companies, energy industry companies and consultants in German-speaking countries.
