POELLATH advises management of Motel One Group on strategic partnership with PAI Partners

The French financial investor PAI Partners has entered a strategic partnership with the Motel One Group (“Motel One”), a leading budget design hotel chain in Europe. PAI Partners will acquire an 80 percent stake in Motel One’s operating business. The founder of Motel One, Dieter Müller, will remain CEO of the company after the transaction. Independently of the partnership with PAI, Dieter Müller will also expand the previously spun-off real estate division to further support Motel One’s growth. The closing of the transaction is still subject to the standard regulatory approvals. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025. POELLATH provided comprehensive legal advice to the management of the Motel One Group in connection with the strategic partnership with PAI Partners.
