POELLATH advises the management of the BOCK Group on sale by Nord Holding
NORD Holding Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (“NORD Holding”) has sold the BOCK Group, a global technology and innovation leader in the heating, refrigeration and air conditioning technology, to Danfoss. The transaction volume is confidential.
Since its foundation in 1932, the BOCK Group has developed into a leading manufacturer of technologically advanced reciprocating compressors for refrigeration and cooling applications. The market segments addressed are essentially refrigeration and cooling technology for mobile applications in bus, rail and transport (reefers, trucks & trailers). The retail (supermarkets) and food processing segments complete the BOCK Group’s product range as the most important stationary applications. The company employs around 400 people worldwide and has production sites in Frickenhausen (Germany), Stříbra (Czech Republic), Bangalore (India) and Suzhou (China).
Danfoss develops solutions that increase machine productivity, reduce emissions, lower energy consumption and enable electrification. These solutions are used in areas such as refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, energy conversion, motor control, industrial machinery, automotive and marine. In addition, Danfoss offers solutions for renewable energy such as solar and wind power, as well as for urban energy infrastructure.
