POELLATH advises CEO of Matrix42 AG on sale to Corten Capital

Funds advised by EMERAM Capital Partners, one of the leading private equity firms for medium-sized companies in the German-speaking region (“EMERAM”) sell their portfolio company Matrix42 to the British private equity firm Corten Capital.

POELLATH provided comprehensive legal advice to the co-shareholder and CEO of Matrix42 AG, Oliver Bendig, within the context of the sale and reinvestment. 

Matrix42 AG, founded in 1992 and based in Frankfurt am Main, is an international provider of workplace management software. The Matrix42 platform serves more than 5,000 customers worldwide and automates critical IT and business support processes, license and cloud cost management and related enterprise workflows. The company has expanded its market position over the years through constant product development, complemented by acquisitions and internationalization.

Corten Capital is a specialized investment firm that works with entrepreneurial management teams to acquire and build market-leading, technology-driven B2B services, information and software companies in Europe and North America.

EMERAM is one of the leading investment companies for medium-sized companies in the German-speaking region. Funds advised by EMERAM currently provide EUR 400 million in capital for the company development. The portfolio includes companies from the consumer, technology/software and services sectors.
