POELLATH advises CA Immo on sale of Inter-cityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof
CA Immo, an investor, manager and developer specializing in office real estate in Germany, Austria and Central Europe, has sold the IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof. The buyer is the U.S. investment company Invesco. According to the information provided, the real estate assets amount to approximately EUR 0.5 billion. The hotel is fully leased to Intercity Hotel, a subsidiary of Steigenberger Hotels.
The IntercityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof was completed in 2013 and is located in Berlin’s Europacity on Katharina-Paulus-Strasse. It comprises approx. 23,400 m² with 412 hotel rooms and 10 meeting rooms. According to CA Immo, the building was the first hotel to be awarded a platinum certificate by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
