ARTUS Bautrocknung- und Sanierungsgruppe (“ARTUS”), a portfolio company of the EPIC II Funds managed by Castik, has acquired VEMA-Bautentrocknung GmbH (“VEMA”), a specialist in construction and event heating, as well as mold and water damage restoration. POELLATH provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to ARTUS in connection with the acquisition.
Founded in 1989 and based in Schwentinental (Schleswig-Holstein), VEMA is a specialist in the field of drying technology, mobile heating and modern construction diagnostics. Since its foundation, the company has become a highly experienced renovator in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg and is known in northern Germany for its expertise and quality.
ARTUS Bautrocknung- und Sanierungsgruppe is one of Germany’s leading property damage restoration companies for fire, water and natural hazard damage, as well as construction drying and winter construction heating. The company employs approx. 1,100 people at more than 50 locations and offers complete solutions for the entire restoration process. The range of services includes initial measures and damage logging, as well as cleaning, drying and complete restoration.
