P+P mourns the death of founding partner Andres Schollmeier

P+P mourns the death of founding partner Andres Schollmeier, who died last weekend after a serious illness.

Andres Schollmeier founded P+P in 1997, together with Reinhard Pöllath and the other partners. He was in great part responsible for establishing the M&A, venture capital and financing practice areas, first in Berlin and later in Munich.

His comprehensive education, outstanding professional know-how, his understanding that law, tax and economics belong together in advising and his sense for positive collaboration and tolerance in human relations, as well as his love of independence: all these things played a pivotal role in influencing the partners, the colleagues and the structures of the firm.

Before he became an advisor, Andres Schollmeier worked with the Institute for Tax Law at Münster University, published many scholarly works and was still a very successful instructor during his years as an advisor.

The partners and colleagues at P+P will always honor his accomplishments, his ideas and his loyalty.
