P+P begins cooperation with EBS Law School

P+P Pöllath + Partners becomes a new partner of EBS Law School, the juristic faculty of the private and nationally recognized EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht (University for Business and Law) in Wiesbaden, Hessen. The cooperation begins in May 2017. The goal of the partnership is to have collective activities in the domain of national and international corporate law, to merge scholarship and practice, as well as place students with high potential in legal internships and traineeships.

In the context of the cooperation, there will be specialized lectures and workshops by P+P, with a strong focus on practical applications arising from the daily routine of a renowned, international corporate law firm. P+P also plans to participate in the yearly Compliance Day at the EBS Center for Corporate Compliance and will take part in the EBS event "Evening Guests with Practical Experience". EBS students can also profit from P+P's international network. In addition, P+P will participate in EBS's doctoral seminar and Law Congress. "EBS Law School is pleased about this new cooperation and the broad range of subjects that P+P will offer our students and doctoral candidates", says Thomas Erler, Executive Director of EBS Law School.

P+P is known for its comprehensive educational and advanced training programs for interns, trainees and attorneys. The firm educates approximately 50 interns and 15 legal trainees per year in its offices in Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich. Through this cooperation, P+P's educational offerings are now open to EBS students.

As an employer, P+P offers future young professionals an attractive compensation system and a unique environment for personal and professional career development. Personal commitment and entrepreneurial spirit are strongly encouraged. P+P offers the opportunity to design an individualized, flexible work schedule, as well as many supplements – from all-inclusive catered meals for all employees to extensive specialized and non-legal education for the professionals.
Not least, we emphasize the integrated and structured practical training for all employees, the Non-Legal Skills Programme – instruction on key skills and expertise such as leadership, presentation and negotiation techniques and communication of expertise and methods of business development and project management. A mentoring programme, in which each P+P partner individually supervises a young colleague in career planning and development, completes the extensive offerings for our attorneys.
