Turning point in the dogmatics of damages according to Art. 82 GDPR

The waves of lawsuits for damages due to violations of the GDPR have shaped employment law in particular. Now, the ECJ has clarified central questions regarding damages under Art. 82 GDPR. The authors summarize the content of this decision as well as the implications - in particular practical defense strategies.
