David Hötzel was a guest on NWB Verlag’s “Tax Quartett” podcast and spoke with the three hosts Eva Oertel, Florian Holle and Mathias Hildebrandt about the taxation of crypto tokens. This asset class is moving more and more into the mainstream and should no longer be a foreign concept to tax advisors. Discussed are the still existing uncertainties in the application of tax law to crypto tokens and how the tax offices deal with the issue, especially in so-called “trading”.
