Conference Report “Update Employee Data Protection”

Our expert for labor law and employee data protection, Dr. Sorber, provided an overview of the topic “Update Employee Data Protection” in his article in the Data Protection Advisor. Dr. Sorber spoke on this topic at the Data Protection Conference 2023 in Düsseldorf. The focus here was on current topics from case law on the legality of video evidence, from the practice of fines, and from his own consulting practice. At the end, he also provided information on the question of whether and, if so, what a new Employee Data Protection Act might look like and what consequences this might have for companies.
