POELLATH + Events

Together with our event partner, we regularly organize professional events and trainings in our practice areas. POELLATH is a founding member of several non-profit associations that organize professional events. Some of these formats are among the largest German professional events in their field. We also host events for our clients and friends of the firm to encourage socio-political exchange.

In spring 2002, the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and POELLATH initiated the Berliner Steuergespräche (Berlin Tax Talks). They serve as a forum for all those who deal with tax law and tax policy issues in their daily professional work in the German capital.

M&A Lehrgang
The course was established by the POELLATH partners Dr. Frank Thiäner and Jens Hörmann and teaches the basics for the successful execution of M&A transactions. Hosted by P+P Training GmbH, the event series takes place annually, alternating between Munich and Frankfurt. POELLATH partners Dr. Georg Greitemann and Dr. Peter Bujotzek are responsible for the content of the M&A Lehrgang in Frankfurt.

20 Jahre POELLATH-logo
Celebration 20 Years of POELLATH
On 23 February 2018, POELLATH commemorated its 20th anniversary with a celebration in Munich. Among the many guests who attended, there were representatives from all sectors of private equity, including fiscal authorities, the judiciary, academia and the scientific community and the private equity industry. The event was organized as a series of discussions by legal experts and a discussion of sociopolitical topics in the course of the afternoon at the Allerheiligen Hofkirche (All Saints’ court church), followed by a reception at the Max-Joseph Hall at the Residenz palace in the evening.
